VIRTUAL OPEN HOUSES DURING THE PANDEMIC ... AND AFTER

THE VIRTUAL OPEN HOUSE

The answer to holding a FSBO open during the pandemic is to do it virtually.  It’s nothing new.  The virtual open house (VOH) has been around for a long time as a way to attract buyers relocating and unable to tour homes in person.  Now, during the pandemic they’ve become THE way to attract buyers, and even after the pandemic they are unlikely to go away.

VOHs allow buyers to reach more homes via very rich platforms built for live shows that are far more enhanced than the virtual tours and other photography on the MLS or other traditional real estate sites.  And, these tours save you from having to hold in-person tours and allowing your home to remain secure and private which is certainly a plus in these days of the pandemic.

Various websites offer the VOH including Instagram and Facebook, and for the most part if you have a smart phone and a camera stabilizer, you have all the tools needed – other than your own know how from a little online study.
